Maybe some will find this post laughable but anyway.. Many have argued over making more zones instanced or removing instances etc. Though I see the points of both sides, I lean towards instance zones for the lack of drama and members being on at the same time making it difficult if things are already dead.

After playing around in poair a while I notice that although this is an aug zone similiar to sleepers this zone is really lacking when it comes to loot unlike other zones. Many of the 24 hour mobs only drop 1 item out of a small loot table or just 1 item period. With the resent march we have had and desire to start farming elemental armor the times that we are on make it difficult because of the mobs being down at those times. What I propose if its not too laughable is that with all those minibosses and rares etc in poair with small loot tables maybe could have a small chance to drop an elemental pattern/mold as well(bracer boots etc). Maybe not even 100% chance but just a chance. It is an elemental zone and the elemental bp does come from Xegony herself so I wouldnt see too many complaints about it. The pofire mobs would still be there to fight over for a 100% drop but there is still another option available to those with strange raiding times. Just a simple request..call it stupid if you will.

+1. sounds like a reasonable request. i actually like poair more cuz its not as laggy as pofire.

Yea not a bad request, live actually did this with letting elemental molds drop in potime since potime was instanced and it's a tier above elementals. Was a very popular implementation

I'd bump this idea, but I'd limit the chance drops to strictly avatars (and maybe their trigger mini named). I know the avatars are tied to the same timer regardless of instance, and will make them more heavily farmed, creating a bottleneck to get Xegony flagged, but I just don't think it's reasonable to have the patterns drop off of the regular named. The reason being is that they aren't as difficult as they should be for such a rewarding upgrade to visible armor slots, even at a small chance. Plus, they are only on a 30 min respawn, not the same 24 hours as pofire, or 8 hours for the avatars.

Obviously, the next reasonable solution is to allow the patterns to drop in the next set of parallel raid tiers. Either that or create 3-4 more raid bosses, on a long respawn, with similar difficulty of pofire, that spawn in poair.

How about we make them drop but with crap drop chance? Instead of 100% to drop 2 pieces, we could make it 50% to drop piece to offset the mobs being easier.

Also keep in mind that for getting into PoAir you need to be flagged where as PoFire is an open zone.

I just feel that the PoAir named are too easy for such a reward. But I won't complain either, and I'd happily farm my self a set now. Up to the devs...

Some PoAir named are too easy, but only some of them. Queen Selandria is no joke, can easily cause a wipe. Same with Swirling Elemental Force which seems to hit like a truck (Lossenmachar too). Archmage is cake easy.. so are a couple other named.
