The Hidden Forest

I'm not sure the reasoning behind this, but perhaps you could explain it to me.

In Karnor's.... there's some named mobs that dont drop loot, but there's non-named mobs that do. Such as the skeletal caretaker's that drop loot, but VSR doesn't. It didn't make sense to me, but I was wondering if you could shed some light on it for me.

VSR was never a loot named in live ( was spawned for druid/rng epic 1.0 quest)

He had a chance to drop the legs for mrylokar's, tolans, etc etc.

He shouldnt spawn at all really. Will check what is going on here.

He spawns on Emu because killing VS is a pain on a low population server and he only spawned on live after VS was killed. At least this is what I was told when doing the ranger epic (which uses him - so does the druid epic).

Is he needed for anything on THF tho - like Headhunter? If no objections, i remove him from the spawn table.

Incorrect. It was a chance that either VS OR VSR (not both at once) would spawn. The only way to kill VSR though was to turn in the item for the ranger epic to get him to be active.

Thank you for the correction - I've only dealt with him on Emu. No, he's not in the headhunter quest.

originally in live when ya killed VS then 24 hours later VSR poped for ranger,druid epic, then you turned in 3 items turning him into different stages, finnaly being a VS clone.

then once done you had to wait untill 24 hours after next VS kill to do the next step for someone else ( was a real pain because people fervently competed over it ( and yes people did KS VS clone to get their piece ))
