The Hidden Forest

twice now when my guild tried to spawn phinny we kill the four seahorses and then the mini boss seahorse won't spawn. just posting in case the event is bugged, maybe it works that way if phinny isn't ready to spawn i dunno. this has only happened to us twice and it has been the last 2 times we tried to spawn him. so i am guessing it is some sort of recent bug.

its possible that someone else killed him - he wont spawn (has 24 hour spawn) even after clearing the ring event if he was killed before that 24 hours. I asked Vaion a while ago to put a npc near the zone in that would tell ya if the event was down or up, but never got a response (and at this point Vaion if your reading this Stay focused on t8!) so yeah - just ask around, ive had a number of guilds approach me over the last few months asking bout the Kedge bosses and such so see if someone else has been killing him - if not, then yeah bug time!

Versus has been in the zone both times as well. Never noticed him there before.

well as zaria mentioned versus was up both times.. maybe he took your advice.. we just gotta look for versus perhaps.

Yeah this happened to us before as well... the next time it happened to us we just waited for the horses to pop again and he spawned after that clear so I dunno...
