The Hidden Forest

so im noticing that one of the trash mobs in Fear is quite literally porting my tank around the zone. im AE pulling atm so hard to say which one specifically but if i had to guess id say its either the scarelings or the turmoil toads - it almost seems like they are porting me to their spawn points - but its not them summoning after they gate its happening when the mobs are still in their 90%s and such.

the other issue im finding is that the mobs which gate - scarelings and turmoil toads appear to leash to their gate point after gating. So ill get one to 2%, it will gate then will literally spend the next 20min (going on about 25min now) runing back to me, then gating back before i can get in melee rng to kill it lol - kind of frustrating sitting here waiting for the mobs to pat back in the hopesi can kill em in time (only time im frustrated withhaving a all melee crew! lol)

just a few issues i thought i would bring up will post more as i farm for HoH quest lol.

It's the scarelings, if you pull like 3 or more of them it makes it real interesting, they shadow step, so what is porting you is that x 3.

And send your rogue bot into melee it before it gets to you.

ahh never noticed the shadowstep before, just their gate - god thats annoying lol.

just burst dps before 2% and you will be fine.

yeah i knew about the gate - but i had never seen them shadow stepping like that before today. granted i spend as little time as humanly possible in here and usually when i am in here its not just me solo hehe.

Yeah funny you mention not noticing it either, I only recall this being in effect rather recently like the last time I went like a week ago, before that I don't remember them doing this.

yeah me too granted i dont spend much tim in the zone and avoid clearing it w/e possible so its something that could be 6months old or 6 weeks old ^_^ lol.

the gates always been there, but the shadow stepping definately seems new, but the biggest annoyance really is the way the damn scarelings seem to chain cast gate when they get back to the group, or if its a leash or what. but its annoying as hell lol.

The mobs were messing with me last night.
I always dot scarelings so I don't have to chase them down or wait for them to come back.

Lots of aspects of the zone changed somewhat recently and were never posted in the news.
Makes the zone fresh and fun... ok not fun but still fresh

Don't ever recall a shadow step either. Weird.

And yes, Fear will never be my definition of -Fun-
