Advice For HoH Farming to Make Everyones Lives Easier

Alot of people are starting to get flagged for Tier 8, so that means alot of people will be sharing the zone with each other. Keep in mind this is not an instanced zone and some ettiquitte goes a long way. I am writing this up to try to help everyone by reducing lag and thus trying to limit zone crashes. ATM Vaion is working non stop trying to get fixes in but we all need to be patient and try to do our own parts to reduce the lag. So here are a few pointers that i have found help alot from the last 3 months farming here.

Pointers for T8 Farming:

1) Dont Pull Armors to the Entrance: The Armors when the spawn into shards will DT, i wont explain why or when they do it because that spoils some of the fun of figuring out the zone - but when u have bards around with their Haydns Chorus or Catana song going they are hitting everyone near the entrance, and that will drag people into combat that would otherwise be fine.

- I reccomend pulling to the other safe spots in the zone, that way theres no risk of killing afkers or anyone trying to deal with the merchants at the zone in, There are plenty of safe areas u can set up camp throughout the whole zone, move around and try to find them.

2) Dont Pull multiple armors, when it can be avoided. Many armors come as pairs so this is unavoidable, but i highly reccomend you dont pull multiples, 3 or more unless it was unintentional. As has been stated in teh forums many times now they are one of the major sources of lag in the zone, and until Vaion has an opportunity to try to optimize this (which i know hes working his a$$ off on)

3) Try to Find a good area where u can pull, and be courteous of other people moving throughout the zone, try not to pull mobs through people, remember many mobs AE and DT and have nasty tricks, so you can easily kill others wihtout meaning too if your not careful.

Basically - try to avoid camping at the zone in, keep pulls small, and be courteous of other people in the zone, hopefully everyone in T8 can get along well enough, theres plenty of mobs to go around and while i know some might be a bit zealous to get the solo quest done, theres no reward ATM so no rush lol.

Going to throw my 2cp worth of support here. As most people already know, I am working to get things fixed up. It's long and tedious work, but as long as everyone works together T8 has a lot to offer and even more incoming shortly :)
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...
Simon says.. touch the green one! Nooooo BLIQUE NOT THE RED ONE! zomg you just got me "Vaion Touched"!

Another tip for HoH. Everyone join the same raid so points are shared. Makes things go alot faster.

Beware of Imperator from Play Better, he just trained 2-3 groups of people from different guilds at entrance of HoH. He grabed two mobs, ran them to the people at zone in (in the trees, away from the NPCs, where it should be safe) and then droped them and they started killing the people there. He didnt die, he droped the mobs on top of the people at zone in.

I was able to witness this as i had just evaced my group back to the zone in so we could take an afk and i had not left the computer yet when i watched all this happen while i was FD.

Training people is a suspension/bannable offense, especially if the person has a bad attitude. We do not tolerate that at all whatsoever.

There are three sides to every story, as a general rule bringing something like xxxx trained me to the forums is a bad way to go about bringing light on to a situation that needs attention. You're probably just going to stir up drama and derail the thread, a PM to the person involved or to the staff is the preferred method of handling something like this.
