Dragon AoE adjustment..? Planned in future?

The AoE's of most dragons seem to be using the resist table of their original counterparts.. Do you plan to modify the resist check to help curve with gear eventually?

Since well, I think everyone has mega high resists compared to the original resist table checks they had.

Also minor note: All the dragons in WW are uncharmable except for Ayillish..? http://thehiddenforest.dyndns.org/npc.php?id=120015

About Allyish - that's intended and as soon as we get the custom spell file running, we get more variety on spells, too.

Btw real raid encounters have real ae's - no worries.

We need to get you flagged and introduce you to Mr. Kreizenn. He has a real AE :p It took us a LONG time to figure that fight out. 12k damage :D I was so elated when Hans got to 12,063 hp hehe.

When we did Kreiz I didn't get hit by AE except maybe once, twice, out of a lot of casts.

Kreizen's AE isn't listed there, it just says (Nuke) I'm not sure what that implies, but I was curious what resist table he uses if it's actually landing. on alla: http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=6526 it says -100 resist check.

I do know that on encounters where the resist was listed (Which is most ToV mobs), I would get hit maybe once or twice the entire fight (most are -100 checks).

LTK was nasty, but if you look at her resist adjustment:
http://thehiddenforest.dyndns.org/npc.php?id=124020
(-375 on Breath of Tirranun), this is a high resist debuff modifier so even if you have 525 resists to her it's as if you only have 150 resists when it's doing the calculation if the spell landed or not. Due to her level being 76, too, she is going to land it pretty well regardless of bard/etc because you're capping at 525 so easily (or 575).

I kind of continued this talk in the resists post I made somewhere else... viewtopic.php?f=35&t=776&p=3150#p3150

Kreizzen actually lands his AE's very effectively, even with capped resists. On Jeido I always eat the AE more than anyone else and I might completely resist is 1 out of 8 or so casts. The other times it either lands for full, or does partial damage. What his AE does, though, is a 4k AE rain once a minute. He died in just under 3 minutes (my def was still ticking) so you got hit by all of his AE's it seems. Btw, the AE is custom and I can't remember the name offhand, but it is something like a -300 or -400 resist check.

-300 to -400 resist check means that with the 525 cap our resists are valued at around 225-125, which is pretty poor. However much the cap goes up (if they actually implement the change), you can keep this encounter the same difficulty if you adjust the resist modifier the same amount in negative.. (e.g. go up +200 above resist cap, adjust him to -500 to -700, and it keeps the same resist modifiers), yet by doing so your gear may not keep you at the same level of resists, so you need external buffs to maintain the same resist check (bard/dru). heh.
