Well we cleared ST again tonight, some mobs still seem undertuned while others seem over tuned. Hraashna really gave us a run for our money, for example, as it was impossible for anyone other than the tank to attack without dieing. The AE ramp is worse than Dagarn's, and the HP is more than double.

The point of this post isnt about tuning though, it's about us being shafted on Sleeper! Even though I can't say if we wouldve been able to take him or not, it still sucks that he never became targetable. We did a full ToV clear, including the 2.5 mob, and when the last named died nothing happened. I ran up to the dome to investigate, and Sleeper aggro'd me but was still untargetable.

Hm, that sucks. Lillu told me that Sleeper Script = all named mobs in ST are dead and should agro. Well agro doesn't seem to be the problem.

Hrrashna is a beat, drops the most powerful item too imo. What about the other mobs? Which seem still too weak?

Tbh, this must be a misscommunitaction, since I never looked into ST scripts and can't recall if I've been asked. Will check it out asap and will let you know.

It just seems like theirs a huge difficulty jump between some Tyler. The other 3 warders were easy compared to Hraashna, but that's only because our DPS could actually attack lol. We had 4 clerics and a shaman, so we had massive heal power on the tank and I was able to stay alive with that when defensive was down. I was a bit disappointed in MoTG though, but I was glad he didn't AE ramp! Maybe make him single ramp often? that'd spice it up some..requiring a ramp tank for a change hehe.

Last night run was a huge caster loot run: Gloves/Arms/wrist/shield/Mask at least I was really happy to get. I did not react besides the lack of spell haste you already added on the earring under my request.

Will get back to you if I notice something strange but Mask has already been discussed.(Who said Cleave is useless for casters on Glove? :p - But after internal discussion, those are also the only gauntlets for Mk/Bst in ST so I bet we will keep that).

In terms of items, I gotta be honest, my first piece of traitor armor I was stoked about because I didn't have the corresponding ToV piece. However, now that my ToV armor set is closer to completion (lacking boots), when I compare the plate/chain sets to my own, I really just don't want them. Sure there is a slight AC/hp/mana upgrade, but the cost is kinda high on loosing the specialized ToV pieces. Overall when I look at the plate/chain traitor pieces, I see "DPS" written all over them which I only realized after passing on the piece last night - kinda feel bad now that I pushed Elessar up so high to win it (although I know he's cool about it).

I know that PoFire is provided class sectional specific armor rather than this dual division of armor we are seeing in ST. This gives me hope that the armor in PoFire will be more tuned towards my specific class than the general stats the ST armor gives.

I've got a capped dkp amount, but I still passed on the Morning Dew Shield (It's funny, we called it the Shield of the Mountain Dew last night) because it just isn't enough of an upgrade. I would gain a whopping 25 hp/mana, but overall would loose 30 AC, 20 avoidance, and 5 of each resistance. Sure, I understand that the Yakatizma shield has warrior listed on it and so maybe the AC is a bit higher for that reason, but it is also a tier lower.

Yeah I have to agree with you Jerant, but there will always be armor that you won't want to lose. Items won't be interesting if they all have the same effects etc, part of gearing up in EQ is losing a hp/ac/mana gain in order to keep unique effects that previous armor has.

For example, the leggings last night. I passed because I will not lose my anger click on the ToV legs, they're just too valuable to me. I'll likely keep the ToV legs for months to come (mgiht eventually ask for them to be inventory clickable once the upgrades are too good to pass up). I did the same thing on live with ornate bard legs. the 1 second cast selos was too good for me to get rid of even for Ele leggings. I didnt upgrade until GoD was out.
