Stunnable, other than that it seems ok. Could use a little more ATK maybe.

omg Progeny feedback time.

well for starters that shadowstep makes the fight...umm...to say...undoable when we get shadowstepped across to C2 and then the bird summons/kills each one of us in either a mountain or building.

its just crazy on how far shadowstep is for that zone. maybe it was just us. i am sure other can give you better detail on this then i can as i died pretty early on.

oh and now the bird is on a rampage through the 2nd field killing everything.

It appears as though the shadowstep had some serious consequences to some of the members, causing some to be SS'd across the zone into c2, even. Oddly enough, the bird continued to "warp" around to those it had SS'd and promptly killed them, all the while casting it's AE and subsequently aggroing other mobs onto itself, and thus began its rampage summoning people from across the zone, killing them inside walls and mountains, and killing other NPCs. It finally decided to rest at the steps outside of c1 and began camping that area, making it frustrating to even make a corpse run to reset for another "try". I don't know the mechanics of Shadowstep, but it certainly had an adverse affect on our attempt. Perhaps we could attempt to hide from the AE, instead of fighting in the open, but there's no guarantee the DPS won't suffer the same fate again.

As as side note, Jaxoliz Dawneyes was a fun fight. Certainly entertaining and challenging. We did manage to defeat that bird on first attempt, but it wasn't easy with charm. Bouncing aggro always makes for an interesting fight.

Hmm, strange. I can't say for sure but the furthest I've seen/heard someone shadowstepped was into the lava below the platform or into that spawn nearby by the stairs to c1. I know from personal experiences (4 kills?) since both my characters are typically in range of the shadowstep (Jerant is now on DPS group heals and tank patches) that my own personal furthest SS was maybe 50 loc units. Boxing on that fight is a trip ain't it haha - I feel sorry for Tankzor and having so many melee characters, that had to be rough.

Not sure if it is possible to hide from his AE - we never bother to.

Definitely sounds like some investigation is in order.

i mean dont get me wrong but shadowstep is a awesome effect to use. but personally i think it would be better suited for an event that is indoors like Rallos Zek fight or even Mithanial Marr

Who knows what kind of side effects it has indoors - stuck in the wall etc ;)

My suggestion - you guys kill him again since i see contradicting experiences from your guilds. And we work from there - sounds good?

personaly when shadowstep does hit one of my chars ( yes mugly is either resisting or unaffected ussualy ( maybe gets stepped 1-2 times in the fight with his craptastic stats))
furthest ive been moved was to a guard at C1 stairs however thats only because we pulled him really close to it or someone got shadowstepped and didnt move back and got stepped again in the same direction.

i love the effect, makes it annoying on people who box a ton of chars and nothing super difficult for people who 1-2 box, just gotta bounce back which isnt a real issue.

There is a thought ... where did you fight him? We usually pull him fairly close to the castle wall.
