Thx Crumb! First video so we have a start finally :)

Couple of comments -

I believe we did a great deal to make this server stand out from the rest of the EQEmu crowds, however i don't really see this in the video.

The only real custom mob that you show is the short walk inside ToV. Where are all the other mobs? The entire starter zone is missing for example - the Ancient Weapons, let alone the unicorns or other mobs like Mistmoore etc.

The video could be from any other EMu server really.

I just watched it again and want to add some more comments:

The video is technically very nice, music and scene changing is all done very professional.
Just the custom content isn't really showing ;)

Going to sticky this - need more videos!

Starting music, cuting and the titles are really really cool/professional. Nice work Crumb :)

Althought I myself would like to see more custom content too like The Hidden Forest zone.. Custom NPCs.. Custom quest NPCs.. Raid events.. Some player group action..

Proffessional Quality Production.
Very commendable Job Crumb.

After seeing yours i was not sure i wanted to continue making mine.

After seeing the responses by admin on your production, i am sure i do not want to continue work on mine.

just glancing at video:
intro title: "The hidden Forest"
no epic wielding orcs

I'll make a video eventually here. Just that I usually 4 box, and fraps doesn't really merit that too well.

Well, I started recording footage to start a video and realized that I didn't REMOVE THE CURSOR with fraps. So, here's a little teaser I just threw together in the footage I made from the point I realized the cursor. I'll be starting over again and ensuring it's cleaner with no cursor. It's in HD, I did I thought a pretty cool transition from the "evil lurks here" music to "a ray of hope!" mix. That's EQ music, though.

Ends prematurely and the ending footage sucks. Would take out the assassin part, and go through with my rogue in SoS and get the higher end custom zones. Also would make the text more cool potentially, and try to cover more custom stuff.

I am thinking of imitating a part where there is this war between towns and monsters, kind of a facade of the server (makes it more a story telling element about the history, why you start in the forest, and really emphasize the banding together of monsters to suppress us into this forest). If nothing else it's an attempt at encouraging players to come check it out at least, and get lost in the lore.
