Normal - Collect

Pure Ice Collect 20 from Everfrost.

Quickest Port In to Zone in.

Kill 22 Mobs loot 20 Pure Ice.

From Accept Mission to Mission Done between 3 and 5 minutes solo on Rerfu with no Bot.

Nothing fancy other then target mob, attack, loot. Its 5 min if I loot myself or 3 min if I have someone with me looting. This is on a Ranger, Monk or Rogue guildies can go quicker.

Normal - Slaughter

Generally 15 to 20 minutes for kill 60, most every zone. Can go as long as 30 min if I'm answering questions in /ooc.

Normal - Rescue

The only one I did took 54 minutes, had a heck of a time finding the mob.

Normal - Assassinate

These are the ones I use to farm Type 1 Augments Glowing. Can take around 30 to 40 minutes if I have bad luck finding the named.

Hard - Assassinate

Only did one when we tested for balance before launch.

Hard - Rescue

Have not attempted.

Hard - Collect

Have not attempted.

Hard - Slaughter

Did a couple with Bresham and a couple with Dummarr. Average completion time: 55 Minutes to 1 Hour. With a full 6 characters. Since Bresham geared the heck out of Vesk and I had to backflag from the beginning with Fusion most of us are too busy with raids to do Hard LDoN. With Dummarr, Progeny's guild population went from 3 or 4 characters online to 30+ online which put him back into raiding as well.

As you can see my only basis for comparison between Normal and Hard is on Slaughter.

With that direct comparison I can do 15 min x 4 = 60 Min, 4 Normals to 1 Hard if I'm really moving quickly or 30 min x 2 = 60 Min, 2 Normals to 1 Hard if I'm half playing.

Nothing really touches the Normal Collection Pure Ice for Points an hour though with a rate of 12 Normals (5 min x 12) to 1 Hard (60 Min).

I would still very much like to see an LDoN that we can raid, as long as its not instanced by guild tag and repeatable. My reasoning behind this is: Currently, if you have enough players on in guild you do raid content. If there's only one or two of you on, you can farm old content which gears Alts and Bots but there's hardly anything in the game that can be done with other guilds.

PoFire including Fennin has already been cleared with 3 people, probably won't see cross guild raids for that.

SSRA can be done with 2 Characters.

PoFear there was 2 guilds running it, but once Dino split we're the only ones in the zone.

Instancing by character and not guild would allow people to get into a raid when they're on instead of waiting for the core group of their guild, if guilds still wanted to do guild only they could do that no problem, just don't invite others to the raid.

The majority of the people on the server play casually, if you change the raid instances to character you open up the possibility that people might find there are fun people to play with outside their guild also. Server population has went from 40 Prime Time to 140 Prime Time, and I can guarantee you that unless I power leveled a person's char, I have no idea who the new 100 are.

Keep in mind that these numbers are using raid content gear, and our guild has successfully killed every encounter. So not a good comparison for the new people joining the server, but more of a preview as to what will be a few months from now with 5 or 6 guilds able to kill everything. Hopefully this helps in some way.

1-group LDOn raids that could come as substitute to lowest tier raiding for people who JUST hit 70, would be a thing I would do myself =P

I haven't done any LDON at all. I have had enough to keep me busy until recently so it looks like I will be starting soon. I am geared somewhere between the top geared guys and NToV raiders so I presume I would also have a similar analysis as Rerfu. LDoN is about farming points in while having a little fun instead of the usual grind. That means anything that makes it a pain in the ass is going to turn me off quickly. On live I favored slaughters and collects since they didn't require having to go find a mob. I think rescues and assassinates would be much more palatable if the mob you are looking for is easy to find. For rescues put them at the zone in and walk them to the other end. For assassinates put them in an obvious location and simply put a ton of guards around them or make them untargetable until a certain number of mobs have been killed.

I think that the number of points per hard LDoN will need to be tuned as well. It makes no sense to do a single hard when you can farm double or more points from cranking through easys with zero chance of failure. That's just smart time management.

I would also love to see small raid instances that can be done with 6-12 toon. That would be a nice change instead of having to wait for enough people to raid or grind the same old thing when your not raiding.

3 and 5 min? wtf!!!!!! takes me about 25-30 for the same mission solo with my palbot. Now granted im not gearded extremely well but i do have 140AAs and donator weapon.
Today i did the food supplies collection mission and it took me 95min. At zone in i went one direction and mobs werent dropping anything except faint augs. after the steam stopped coming out of my ears i went back the other way and mobs were dropping the item i needed.

I'd say 5 minutes is accurate, I can do it before Panther runs out, which is under 7 mins for me. This is fully geared ToV and 600 AA warrior, using a shaman to heal/buff.

Granted, this is just the actual mission time. Add another 5 or so for moving toons and what not.

I just spent 2hrs grouped with Rerfu doing collection ldon. we did about 20 of them averaging 4min per ldon. pretty insane to witness when im soloing in 1 in 30min. showed me the differance of what a high end geared toon can do over a non guilded shmuck like myself is capable of.

Feedback on LDoN Hard collection:

Last night, I spent over an hour and only managed to get like 8 quest drops (Rujarkian Hills). The mobs hit hard (esp. the unslowable ones) and at one point, my war barely survived tanking 3 mobs at once (after a bad pull), blowing most defensive discs (he has 16.9K hp on magelo). Full group: war, monk, rogue, cleric, shaman, wiz.

I wasn't able to finish the ldon adventure because a guild raid was on call. It simply can't beat the time/effort vs. points from Normal collection (Miraguls).
