Zone progression

Some quick feedback.

For the sake of clarity, gonna call CB t0, guk tier T1, seb T2

I haven't progressed beyond seb, so i will keep my comments limited to my play experience between t1 and t2.

First, I have to say the progression between tiers is very difficult. The ramp is extremely steep, which is fine and about right imo.

Going from t0 straight to t1 is hard and you ought to wait till you are in your high 40s to solo or 30s to group.

My biggest problem is in t1 to t2 and the big named mobs in each zone from t1 over to t2.

IMO, the big t1 named ought to be at least as difficult and the lower t2 mobs. That would mean the guk lord/king hitting for 800-1000 and would require a group to handle if you were within the level range req'd. VS, for example, should be hitting for 1500-1800 to be in line more with the mobs from solb etc.

In addition, the loot tables for these mobs needs tobe specific and worth the time invested in farming them. I was thinking they could drop pieces from t2 to help with the transition from t1 to t2, or additionally, drop rare augs in general.

I would also suggest locking t0 and t1 to a specific level range. t0 no one over 40, t1 no one over 65 etc.

Im not 100% happy with the transition myself. The named mobs in Guk are sort of weak, you can 2-3 group them easy, even without full Guk gear. However, it's somewhat intended that guk is easier.

Making Bosses like VS/King/Lord etc harder is a good idea tho. Will go in with next patch.

Locking those zones down is not really an option. You will see yourself that later on that you will eventually revist old content, be it for quest drops or just for fun to beat up old mobs.

Creating custom loot what i do most and i agree on this. I will have to create some custom loot for the other bosses (GUk is fine) soon (tm).

I think he means 2-3 man them, not group :). That'd be a tough mob if it needs 2-3 groups!

Slighty off topic, but not. I just went and revisited Sebilis to update some random equipment spots that I have still with Chaotic. Last time I was in there, I took Jerant and Hans and I got completely beat down in the crypt and could only successfully kill one of the spawns. This time, however, I could seriously have solo'd all 4 spawns with a bot and Hans has had very little in the way of equipment upgrades.

Did you guys change the non raid mobs in the zones to be easier too? I would think anyone 70 with a cleric bot, regardless of gear/AA's can now solo a lot of the named. If the desire was for these also to be 2-3 man grouped, they seem a bit easy.

I kinda like it though 8)

Seb is a lev 50-60 zone without AAs. IF you are lev70, you should be able to own, even if its only in this zone ;)

Hmm, maybe it was pre-70 that my "beat down" experience happened. I have a poor memory ... carry on!
