Crash when zoning!!

I get crashed nearly everytime when zoning~

Just Hold the program need to close eq and re open the program again~~~

Why is that? Its not fun everytime crash~

This problem starting since EQEMU Patch

Please help me out

hello ipman,

Did you (partially) patch your client by accident? I would suggest you to make a clean reinstall and see if you still crash. Make sure to get the latest spell and globalload files.

Also, if you are on a WiFi network, try to connect directly to your router with a LAN cable (not via wifi), and see if the crashes are still there.

Seems like it's a client issue at your end, so this might help you.

If I boxing 2 account~ using SoD Version am i needed to use other software to make dual core supported? etc.

SOD auto set one core for each session of eq you run, so no other software is needed

Same ... after reinstall the client

Keep crashing when zoning~ need to relog and play again...

I use 15mins... for Login then zone .... then take LDoN again...

This problem only start for 1 week or few days

Is the server population goes up... and lag the server?

I had something like this and what it was the GL file was from tit instead of sof/sod

Server population can't really cause lag, we have a beast dedicated server with a dedicated 120/10 Mbits fiber optic line.

Must be something at you client side ipman, try to update the correct version of the spell and globalload files and if it wont help, try a (clean) reinstall.

Just did a clean install and i found that

If I box 2 account => Crash when zoning

If I play ONLY 1 account => Slow zoning (1min) but no crash at all~

Will this be connection problem? any fix i can do to help?^^
