I have this working on UF. For some reason, just editing the ini file worked fine for my desktop, but on my laptop i had to do a few more steps to get it to work. Here is the post where i show the extra steps that you can try if the ini edit alone does not work.

Right, I found it. user/public/sony online entertainment/installed games. Doh!

I didnt have the LoadArmor17-23 in my eqclient.ini file, can I just add them into it?
I'll look into the other bit Sticky, if I can't get it to work, thanks.

From what I can tell, Just doing the LoadArmor17-21 didn't work. So I'll have to look into doing the other bits later on today.

you got to turn off all Luclin models ( beside horse and pets )and also turn on Velious armor to TRUE in your ini file iirc.

Would it make a difference that I have 2 UF clients installed on my HDD? 1 is my main client for just my tank, who i play prob 90% of the time, and a 2nd client with practically everything turned off, for loading in all my boxes.

When I do a search I only find 1 eqclient.ini file, so I'm not sure it matters?

I still haven't had any luck with just editing the ini file. Any idea before I start messing with the s3d files?

Salvador, I'm 99% sure you must have two eqclient.ini files if you have two client installations. The reason being that if you have everything turned on for one install and off for another, those settings are saved in their respective eqclient.ini files. You shouldn't be able to save settings for everything off without one.

So, I'd track it down, wherever it is and make the model changes there, first.

If that fails, I'd follow sticky's post about the global_char.s3d file.

Okay, lets try to make sense of this.

in my users/public/SOE/installed games I have an EQ directory of 8.14gb

but that is not either of the clients I use. Both of my clients are in my Program Files(x86) directory and are only 6.44gb each

Only place I can find an eqclient.ini file is in the large EQ folder... no eqclient.ini in my 2 smaller folders.

And where do your everquest shortcuts point to for the Salvador client and then for your boxes client?
