In the world of Everquest there are dozens upon dozens of Acronyms and Abbreviations.

LOL = laugh out loud
LMAO = laughing my @ss off
ROFL = rolling on the floor
ROFLMAO = rolling on the floor laughing my @ss off
IDK = I dont know
BRB = be right back
BBS = be back soon
BIO Break = bathroom break

POP = plains of power
DOT - Damage Over Time, a spell typically cast by a necromancer or druid.
'dot - a peridot, a common spell component.
ST - Screaming Terror
ty - Thank you
tyvm - Thank you very much
50m, 90m, FM - 50% mana or 90% mana or Full Mana


Is there a complete list out there containing all abbreviations?


structure should be like:
1 - chat (e.g.
(a) casual: BTW, BRB
(b) fight related (inc., root, nuke, DD, DoT)
2 - locations (e.g. PoK, BB, DC)
3 - spells (e.g. KEI, SOW)
4 - item related (e.g. CoF, CoCW)
5 - jobs (e.g. MT, ML)
6 - game commands (e.g. /log on, /random 100, /assist)
7 - emoticons (e.g. /wave, /blush)

It might help a few of us newbies to learn the game faster.

The most widely used and popular abbreviation in the game is MITCPE which is short for "melkor is the coolest person ever"
