Euphoric Harmony

I occasionally get messages that Euphoric Harmony has worn off members of my group when playing my chanter, but I do not remember ever seeing this spell. It looks like it increases the amount of spell proc slots by 2.

Where does it come from?

It's a buff that procs from the spell Euphoric Noose

From the server update:
"New Enchanter spell: Euphoric Noose. This is a DoT based spell that has a 20% chance to cast an AoE buff that will increase players maximum number of spell proc slots by 2."

Definately one of the best chanters spells in game =p

lets players have 2 more buff slots that allow procs to work.
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

This was discussed in another thread, but if you're confused, basically it allows you to proc more effects with each attack. Normally there's a cap on how many procs can go off at once from each attack you launch, so if you have 3 procs on your attack (say, fire damage, hate proc, and lifesteal) but your cap is 2, then you'll ony get 2 out of the 3 procs.

Increasing proc slots encourages melee attackers to stack additional procs on their weapons, so that when the procslot buff hits, they're suddenly doing a lot more damage and stealing more life.

It's subtle, but devastating if your melee groupmates take advantage of it.

From what I understand it only affects procs from spells. Weapon procs from weapons and augments remain unaffected and you can have as many as you can slot.

This increases the maximum number of SPELL proc slots. So it allows you to stack 2 more buffs that have procs.

Yup. The effect is to increase the number of procs you can obtain from buffs (has nothing to do with stacking procs on weapons.) SKs in particular run out of proc slots from buffs very quickly. We have 2-3 buffs we can cast on ourselves that take up proc slots (I just use the lifetap proc buff now, the rest just rot in my spell book). Those+aura procs+group buffs=you quickly running out of proc room. Grouping with a beastlord/enchanter makes life much easier :D As for the enchanter spell, I didn't discover the recourse effect until long after scribing it. The recourse should probably be described in the spell description, no? I was very shocked when I found that buff and started questioning where it came from. Several chanter spells are a little misleading about what they do (see: euphoric spasm decreasing targets melee mitigation, it's easy to think it's just another crappy old cripple spell when in fact it's likely the most powerful debuff in the game.)

Thank you all for the nice replies. It is re-assuring to know my original EQ class is not so worthless lol.

But one thing im just not clear on, is what exactly are "buff proc slots"?
