Hi all, I have just returned after an 18 month hiatus and have noticed many (often awesome) changes to the server...
However, in the Sleeper's Tomb the aggro/strength of the Wyverns in the central top floor room seem to be greatly overdone.
I was taking some new-ish 70 toons through Sleepers for their first time and we just wiped 3 times in a row on this room... Sure I could run through, feign, then CoH everyone past... But... Why is this so hard all of a sudden? I mean, this would be impossible for T2 geared group. My tank, Kurzesblatt is a T5-6/event/donor geared (+many donor/event/LDON augs/VP augs) and we were in a 3 party raid group with various T4-T7 toons and 2 T2 geared toons. I remember soloing this whole dungeon dozens of times a few years ago (Sleeper included - took forever, but doable).
There seems to be no way to separate them. You can still get the first two to the right about 50% of the time but then the next pull always seems to bring the whole room. Their aggro range is so large you can't get close enough to try to calm/charm them (to stop the domino effect aggro pulling all 14 remaining spawns, and their HP is so high even with donor Mag/Bst pets in group you can't knock them down fast enough to save the tank (fully buffed with 49,800hp 11,000ac and all AAs maxed).
I am baffled... Is there something I missing? Is this intentionally harder than the Xegony battle?
I feel I must be missing something here - or overlooking something I forgot in my time away...
