Jewelcrafting Skill

If we could ever ope up all of the Tradeskills to all of the classes like we discussed months ago (cough, slacker Lillu). Then we could start developing new recipes for Tinkering, and Jewelcraft, and maybe even poisonmaking though that is harder since we have to consider combat balancing.

Wow, I had forgotten about this discussion until the recent Solo Player Aura quest showed that tradeskills could still be fun AND frustrating...

...what's the current view on Jewelcrafting/Gemcutting these days??

Not concerned about Jewelcrafting as it stands now on Emu. What I -am- curious about is if Gemcutting from Live will ever be brought over. My Magician on Live was in the process of skilling up the path there, and equipping alts with nifty items at the same time. Would be cool to see it implemented here, but not sure if it will ever happen.

Ohh well to answer that on THF there are some of those JC recipes which do work.
No idea about the enchanted part which probably doesnt work.

I remember when I went back to play on eqlive in 2009 with some old friends and one of them had a master JC enc who hooked us all up with some amazing items.
