Also. If I click Daggerfall while I have Rogue's Fury on, I get the "Your spell did not take hold" error.

Hmm, come to think of it, I ALWAYS have commanding voice on if I'm engaged with anything, but never before I'm actually engaged in combat (ie, during the pull) which may explain why my discs grey out while I'm in combat. I haven't been back on to reproduce this error, but I'll test this theory. Good detective work sir!

To Harney: The issue here has nothing to do with silence. The issue is that the disc timer will simply grey out with full timer without giving the actual discipline effects. Good try though! =D

My war / rogue got same problem while using disc. The error "Your spell did not take hold" will be come out and no disc effect is on but the timer.....

This problem seem random , i have try use defensive on my off combat / stand alone warrior but still got this problem.

Wmkit, did your warrior have any short duration buffs on (ie, Commanding Voice/Rogue's Fury/Fists of Wu) while out of combat and trying defensive?

Did not have any short duration buffs on.
I will try turn off all buffs on war to see if the error still happen.

Confirmed, any of the short duration buffs currently block disciplines from working properly. Commanding Voice/Fists of Wu/Thief's Eyes to name 3, I haven't tested Cry Havoc. Hope there is a fix for this soon! =D

I'll jump in on the short duration deal, I am always grouped with my monk and generally click Wu's as soon as he gets in to combat - usually right before Furious wears out and I have to click def/stone. Come to think of it, since I have switch to not using furious, I get the spell did not take hold message every time I click Wu.

I just realized I kept saying "Rogue's Fury" in my posts. I meant Thief's Eyes....oops!

To clarify a tad more on this, I'm only having issues with the short duration buffs that are given via the melee group buffs like the ones mentioned earlier in this thread (Commanding Voice, etc) but not with any of the short duration buffs received via epic clicks or bard songs. It seems the specific stacking issue is with discipline created buffs. They shouldn't be conflicting.
