Tired of trying to find those pesky 5% rare drops? Well run on over to your local tavern and pick you up a Flask of Luck!

Image

**Note - This item is not currently on live**

Wielding this special flask would make those 5% drops instantly become 10% drops! However, you (or your pet) would have to get the kill shot!

Fixed up a bug with the code that handles this. It now properly looks through all raid or group members and see who has the highest % boost and uses that value. So the wearer no longer has to get the kill shot!

Now if only there was a special event going on where this may or may not be dropped onto the global loot table during one of the days....

http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... ?id=122715 (is it % based ? fixed ?)

This item procs Touch of Inruku at a 5% chance. I have updated the description to give more details: "This Pendant is rumored to have been worn by Luclin herself. Those who wear it have a 5% chance to siphon the life straight from their opponents with an innate proc of Touch of Inruku."

http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... ?id=122716 (does it apply to all spells, including insta spells?).

Fixed an issue in the code with this one. It is designed to have a 3% chance after casting ANY spell to proc Gift of Mana. Updated the description: "This necklace was a gift from Luclin, passed down through the generations to the High Priestess of the Akhevan. Wielding it, you receive a 3% chance of receiving Gifts of Mana after any casted spell."

Stickybuds wrote:To kinda piggy back on Sian's questions, does the worn2 from this http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... ?id=122710 effect procs or just cast spells?

This takes affect on any Magic resist spell that is casted or proc'd. This does include nukes and dots.

Both worn2 Pet Dmg items will be working with next reboot. Got time to isolate the issue in the code. Turns out that the code was working properly for charmed pets and not spell summoned.

Went through and fixed a lot of the rare drop worn2's from Vex Thal that were either non-functional or slightly broken. They should all be operational after next reboot.

I don't think this is quite true for the pet dmg worn2's yet. I tested again this morning after updating the patcher and my pet's dmg is still the same as it was last week. I have both the 20% and 5% worn2 items from VT, so I'd expect to see a fairly significant increase in dmg if they were functioning.

You said it was only affecting charmed pets and not spell summoned and that was fixed... but what about item summoned? (donor pets) Could it still not be affecting them?

Tested it just now on my server and seems to be working fine. I did find 1 "bug" where you have to have some form of pet power item (Dark Minion focus effect etc) for it to take effect. But I went into the code and removed that. If it is still not working after todays reboot just make another post here and ill dig deeper.

Same results as before. Here is my testing method:

I put my worn2 items in my bank, leave the GH into a normal zone, summon my pet (using Immortal Minion focus and Summoner's Boon buff on mage). From there I'll head back to the GH and buff my pet (Sune arms buffs, both mage donor weapon buffs, shaman epic 2.0, bard epic 2.0 & T8 bp, melee auras including donor aura, rk.2 pet weapons, etc.) and run two 3 minute parses on the T8 dummy from behind.

Then I'll dismiss that pet, equip my VT items and repeat the exact same process. There doesn't seem to be any difference in the dmg with or without the items equipped. The dps is always around 130-140k and his high hit is always 118,923.

It would help to know how the buffs are applied so I know what difference I'm looking for. Is it supposed to be a straight damage skill modifier increase so my average/max hit would increase? Is it supposed to increase the pet power (level/stats)?

Also, do the effects from the bracer (5%) and the lucid rune (20%) stack or will only the higher of the 2 take effect?

They both stack and take affect when the pet is summoned. The way the worn2 works is it is a straight modifier of the min and max dmg. So you should be seeing 20% higher hits. I.e. If the max hit was 100 you would see 120 as max hit with the items on.

Which toon are you using? I can copy them and test.

Also try doing it without any buffs at all. Just summon pet (self buff is fine) and get the min/max hit. Then dismiss pet and put in vt items and resummon a new one.

No difference when wearing/not wearing. Placed items in bank, zoned to normal zone, summoned pet (without the summoner's boon spell on). Ran 2 parses and max hit was 13,824.

Put items on, zoned, summoned, ran 2 parses and max hit was the same. The only buff the pet had on him was the self buff he spams.

My toon is Neoelement. He has 3 levels of the T9 aa... not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Interesting...

Try taking off your pet focus item and resummon. Then put it back on and resummon. Curious to know what the values show

Each time the pet has his self-buff only.

No focus or summoner's boon:
Lvl: 84
AC: 8,755
HP: 65,147

Dark Minion focus no summoner's boon:
Lvl: 86
AC: 13,685
HP: 101,832

Immortal Minion focus no summoner's boon:
Lvl: 86
AC: 14,705
HP: 109,422

Immortal Minion focus WITH summoner's boon:
Lvl: 87
AC: 15,980
HP: 118,910

Immortal Minion focus WITH summoner's boon AND VT items: same as above.

Dark Minion focus no summoner's boon WITH VT items: same as without the VT items.

VT items don't seem to have any affect on the stats of the pet, but all the other focus/pet power buffs seem to be working.

I'll run a parse using the dark minion focus with and without VT items equipped and see if my max hit changes.

Parses show the same max hit (13,216) for a Dark Minion focused pet with or without the VT items equipped at the time of summoning.

Can you do this for max dmg hits? This will help me narrow it down quickly (hopefully)
