i am having trouble with skills like backstab and bash not being used i have made sure they are set to on and even id'd my main hand weapon in the rog's case and it still doesnt use it. any ideas on how to fix this?

If you leave your computer / everquest running for long periods of time this happens. Simply reboot and all should be working again.
