Stupid question, how do you augment an item?

I have tried dropping the aug on the item to be augmented (type of aug matches) and every other thing I can think of.

So what is the freakin process?

Find an aug bath in the bazaar, the casino, the guild hall, etc. Click it, put the item to be augged and the augment you want to put in it in the aug bath, click combine, and that's it Also, if you've ever played on a different server and downloaded their custom files, you have to do a fresh install and get the THF specific files, otherwise augging gear will make your client crash.

and if you want to augment an item with two same augments, proceed as usual but instead of clicking "insert", type #botaugmentitem, that will automatically insert the second augment.
Of course it doesn't work for lore augments (which you wouldn't be able to loot anyway).

omg.. I've been doing it the old way... Insert Crappy aug, insert good aug, destroy crappy aug, insert good aug...

ya know, I've seen that bantered around, but when I saw #botaugment etc I thought someone asked how to augment an item for a bot when you cant use the item
