Walkthrough

The charm quest is a higher level progressive quest which leads you to many of the customized zones used on The Hidden Forest. The reward is consistent upgrades to the charm that Queen Adrianne gave you upon your arrival to the forest. Here we will be going through the fifth of the series.

Quest mob:

Lilly is a fairy located in The Hidden Forest zone across from Queen Adrianne. Her specific location is -16, -40.

Quest text:

Lilly

You say, 'Hail, Lilly'

Lilly says, 'Hello again, Jerant, thank you so much again for helping me make that potion. Although the evil corruption has been cured, there is still something amiss in the forest and it seems I am in need of your assistance again. Will you [help] me?"

You say, 'I will help you'

Lilly says, 'I ... I don't know what it is. I feel as if we are being watched ... even spied upon ... as if some evil presence used the drake essence. I don't know what to do, but I do know who you can [talk] to about it.

You say, 'Who can I talk to?'

Lilly says, 'Seek out Molygin the Historian in the Plane of Fire. He will know what to do!'

Lilly shudders as if spooked by some unknown presence.

Molygin

You say, 'Hail, Molygin The Historian'

Molygin The Historian says, 'Hello! Hello! Please come near so I can see you - my eyes are not what they once were. Oh my ... well I haven't seen a Dwarf around here in quite some time! Pleasure to meet you. What can I [do] for you?'

Molygin The Historian adjusts his glasses and promptly sneezes.

You say,'Here is what you can do'

Molygin The Historian says, 'Hmmm, veeeery interesting. Very interesting indeed. So it seems some ancient evil presence has come to your peaceful little forest ...'

Molygin The Historian drifts for a moment in deep thought.

Molygin The Historian says, 'Yes ... yes! I have heard of this once, long ago ... or maybe I read about it in a book. Oh I just can't remember.'

You say,'I think it was a book'

Molygin The Historian says, 'Indeed, it must have been a book. I remember now! Dragons once were able to accomplish such a task, but I don't think any of the dragons of Veeshan would do this. I smell something much more sinister.'

Molygin The Historian strokes his beard.

You say,'How sinister?'

Molygin The Historian says, 'I've got it, I know what you must do ... but be forewarned, this will be very dangerous. Your very life may be forfeit should you fail. The minions of Kerafym are a dangerous and foul foe. Are you willing to help?'

You say,'I will help'

Molygin The Historian says, 'If you wish to help me find a cure for the evil that ravages your beloved forest, please travel to the depths of the Sleeper's Tomb and retrieve for me a Strange Metal, a Strange Ice, an Essence of Treachery, and an All-Seeing Eye. Good luck and be wary.'

The task:

Molygin the Historian sends you to the depths of Kerafym's domain (Sleeper's Tomb) to obtain some rare items:

• Strange Metal
• Strange Ice
• Essence of Treachery
• All-Seeing Eye

All of these items can be found from the various trash mobs populating Sleeper's Tomb:

• a newly created sentry
• a screeching banshee
• an ancient wyvern
• an aged wyvern
• a rusty wyvern
• an ancient draconine
• an aged draconine
• an ancient caretaker
• an aged caretaker
• a rusty caretaker
• a prismatic keeper

Once you've collected all four of the items, take them back to Molygin the Historian and in turn he will give you the antidote to cure the evils in the forest.

Hail Lilly to make sure you got your character flag and she should say, 'You've returned and you've brought back something that will help? Wonderful! You hold onto this for just a moment while I prepare. Please hand the antidote to me with your charm.'

Turn in the antidote and your charm and receive your reward. Remember to remove any augs you may have on your charm first if you wish to keep them!
