Shaman macro

Good day, I'm running shambot 4.3 and getting a lot more use out of my shaman now, but I'm not able to get him to buff pets. his own or others. I tried the chat commands listed in the macro, it looks like everything is set up right. He also doesn't cast the panther buff, but that's less of a deal, I would like to be able to buff pets.

Anyone else use this macro and have any thoughts?

I'm running UF client.

I'm sure you probably know this already but each pet class gets an AA ability (20 AA points I believe) to have pets included in all group buffs. If you were to train that, the Shaman would buff the pets by default, each time it buffs your group.

I did know that, I'm working towards that with my pet classes.

I'm just trying to look through the code and figure out what i'm missing that it doesn't buff pets when I send the chat command.

Is it the Shm's own pet or other group members pets you want it to buff?

Shm doesn't buff his own pet, so that would be my step 1.

As far as I can tell, I enabled the flag to buff pets. If he doesn't have a pet he will summon a new one. It doesn't seem to matter if I enable single buffs instead of group buffs.

Hmm not sure I've basically written my own stuff since day one. Never actually used stuff like that macro.
I would check if it requires any plugins that you dont have and if you got this from the MQ2VIP and pulled the recent copy, it might be using syntax that works on Live but not on the EMU.

Then check for any /target (prob wont have it) and for any /cast or /casting
somewhere in there its going to attempt to target. Might be inside a custom sub and for a spell you'll see something like /call Buffitnao Panther Pet

I've been looking through it, I'll need to spend some more time on it. The functions that handle it don't look any different than the parts that work.

Do you know what the proper syntax would be to target another players pet? For the player it's ${Me.Pet} right?

Use netbots. Can't recall the syntax off the top of my head but take a look at the wiki and search through netbots.
You need to experiment with it a little and play with attaching datatype members to get what you need.

Most of how I use netbots on another server is not documented anywhere that google has indexed. Learned it all by trial and error.

I'll check that out and see about re-writing that part.

Thanks.

The syntax is ${Spawn[pc PlayerName].Pet.ID} or ${Target.Pet.ID} to find the ID of a player's pet.

/tar ID ${Spawn[pc PlayerName].Pet.ID}
