What do I need pictures of?
If you make your way over to the THF Wiki ( wiki/index.php/Main_Page ) you'll see quests, zones, and guides of all sort. The Wiki needs pictures of:
*Quest NPCs
*Ground-spawns (preferrably with some identifiable landmarks in the shot - as much as we love the brown bag graphic it isn't terribly helpful

*Zone entrances/landscape. If you're looking up Eryslai, the Kingdom of Wind and you've never been there, then perhaps a shot of the entrance, the Queen's island, etc could be useful and purrrdy.
*Prominent item graphics. Epic quests, auras, etc.
What do I NOT need pictures of?
Anything that can be easily outdated/obsolete, and personally identifiable.
*Item descriptions. The stats can change, and I can't imagine anyone wants to groom through all of the item pictures in a wiki to discern which are current and which are not.
*Players. If it is a shot of an Epic, I would like it to be cropped enough so that no name appears. If it is a shot of a raid boss, I would prefer that no players be present. Let's keep it about the content.
Some useful tools will be:
[Spell] Eye of Zomm
[Spell] Bind Sight
[Song] Lyssa's Solidarity of Vision
in conjunction with /assist NameOfNPC or various other ways to target mobs long-distance.
How shall we deliver the pictures?
My preferred method is via the wiki itself.
I ask that you send me a PM stating that you'd like to contribute pictures, content, or both. Next I ask that you also include a desired password for the wiki account I will likely create for you. This will enable you to be a wiki editor.
Once you have a wiki account, you may visit the upload page to upload your pictures (with comments!). You may even take the initiative and place your pictures where they are intended to go in the wiki, but please check out the guidelines for Wiki editors ( wiki/index.php/Editors ) before committing any changes.
If you just want to capture some pictures and upload them for the editors to take care of the rest, then simply use your newly created wiki account to upload them here:
wiki/index.php/Special:Upload
Make sure you include comments so we know what each picture is of. Context of zone/item/quest/NPC will be very helpful.
Lastly, I'll favor good graphic rendering over poor. If you're going to capture pics for an hour, I'd ask that you crank up those graphics settings for that time and make things pretty

Thanks!
