The patcher takes care of the requisite files. The optional map files aren't included in the patcher.

You're idle in IRC right now, so in case we don't cross paths on there:

That forum post makes an error by mentioning the "- custom Spell file", because that is automatically fetched by THFDownloader.exe. If you downloaded the .exe, ran it, and saw "Up To Date!" then you've got all of the custom THF files.
