MQ2 Server limitations

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone could provide some insight into what is allowed and not allowed by the admins for MQ2 scripting? Ive read the first few pages and I'm quite confused on the limit to scripting we are allowed to go.

Ive seen people talking about Shambot, but ive also seen in other posts people talking that a auto healing script is against the rules... I was wondering if someone could give some clarification on what the general rule of thumb is?

Are we allowed to use full automated scripts (shambot/modbot/ect)? assuming we arnt fully afk and still playing a toon.

Are we only allowed to use underlying scripts, for instance, a buff script, or a healing script that only lasts in combat?

Or are we only allowed to use /ecb commands issued from the main to the zombies?

Thanks

Iirc the policy is that you must be present at your keyboard.
Malistari (SHD) | Daggar (ROG) | Sarda (BST) | Gurneyman (BRD) | Glamd (SHM) | Wrunken (CLR)

So long as you use the Stormhaven type build (or simply any of these builds, which I believe have all the prohibited functions/cheats removed, such as warping, invulnerability etc) and are actively playing one character (not running scripts while AFK), and only discuss MQ2 here or privately (not in OOC), then literally anything goes.

Discussion is relatively open here on this forum, though the developers prefer if we don't share huge, elaborate scripts here.

I think I've covered everything. In general, stick to the above rules and you can be as creative as you like. MQ2 is only limited by your coding ability.
