Backflagging alts - suggestions

Hey,

tried doing a search on this, but couldn't find any related threads (please link to me if you know of one!)

Currently, it's a bit of a pain to backflag alts as there are few traders up in bazaar, and even less who actually sells tokens. Of course there's the option of going to kill the mobs who drop them, but hey, I'm lazy, haha.

Started up a new group the other day, and if I can't get a hold of tokens, it's going to be a very tedious task to get them all up to the current level. I realize that this is "the game", however, there is no entertainment at all for me to do this - it's simply a chore, and that isnt very fun.

So here's what I'm suggesting, and I would love to get some feedback from the developers on this:

a) An NPC in guild hall who flags alts up to the current level (for example, if the guild has killed Xeru, you get flagged up to DSK. If the guild has killed The Chaos, you get flagged to HoH etc)

b) A vendor in zone who sells tokens (vendor in HoH sells Token of Xeru) for a set sum depending on what flag you want. Perhaps 10k per tier, per flag, so a Xeru-token would cost 70k per. This would also work as a nice platinum sink to help with the inflation and huge bank accounts.

Suggestion a) would possibly be exploitable, but I put it in regardless - there may be ways to solve this (ref: the item guild attunable thread).

Suggestion b) would also possibly need some form of check or validation or whatever, to prevent the market being flooded with tokens.

I'm lazy too. When I created/flagged my latest group I just made runs of Xeru, Kera and Xeg until I had a combination of 6 tokens for them. The difference between a Xeg and a Kera token is a quick Fennin kill. It is the simplest (if most time consuming depending on RNG) way.

If a vendor does go in like suggestion B, simple step is to make the token no drop that you can buy. That way the alt has to be guild tagged and have the cash themselves (versus you buying a bunch of tokens and then selling them in the bazaar to others)

Yeah I suppose that's a better solution. Just have the vendor's items for sale scale with the guilds progression - if at all possible.

I would add something not to make things too simple : this guild merchant would have to be supplied by guild members.

Ex : If I kill Xegony and she drops the token, I can give the token to the merchant and it will be available for others.
