The times that this has happened in the past it is a glitch with the lock out. He had been killed. instead of others getting the "recently defeated" message, it allowed them to zone in but Boss was not there.

When he respawns all will be back to normal.

it should all be back to normal now, killed him around 6am CST

Killed him again around 12pm CST, too. Seems to be just fine now.

Yep he's fixed. Strange I zoned in twice 30 min apart. Musta got tired of being killed or something...
