Hi, I love rangers and I think the server is awesome. I am fairly new and I can't compare the balancing of rangers to other classes. However, I have a few things to point out, which may be taken as a request if you will.

#1. Hawk's Talon RK1 has a mana cost of 1500 with a base duration of 2 minutes and 54 seconds. This spell affects archery accuracy. In comparison, Eagle Eye has a mana cost of 500 with a base duration of 1 hour 10 minutes. I do not understand why the duration of Hawk's Talon RK1 is so minuscule in comparison to Eagle Eye, and I would sincerely appreciate it if Hawk's Talon line of buffs could have its duration increased so as to be on par with Eagle Eye.

#2. Archery Mastery AA's have had no effect on increasing my base archery damage. I do not know if this is related to the double-damage message I get every time I land a strike with the bow or if it is unrelated to this.

#3. I have found no use whatsoever for the Headshot AA's. If this AA could be modified to instead give a chance to land a critical bow strike akin to the Wizard's Ultimate Blast on any mob, it would become viable - even if a chance to land such a crit was as low as 2%.

I play a ranger and I've always played a ranger because I'm a fiend for the bow. Thank you for taking these things into consideration.

We are open to suggestions to improve the ranger class as they are a bit left behind dps balance wise. One thing to keep in mind tho, server code might be a limitation to some of these suggestions. We can relative easily do spell adjustments tho so I'd say keep the ideas coming and we'll get to work!

Thank you for the warm responses. I'm not altogether too familiar with the server as of yet so it's hard for me to give more suggestions at this time which are in-line with what you already have set up.

As a side note, due to my having to assemble a team (pal,enc,dru,clr,shm,rng) in order to compensate for my inability to snare-kite all these lovely<shudder> summoning mobs, I did notice a really cool upgrade quest from the Kael armor in Shadowhaven, which I'll be doing for kicks instead of begging a ringer to farm Stillmoon trash for me.

(Aviaks should never, ever, ever, ever, ever summon. It's against their religion.)

Firefist is an integral Ranger self-buff that gets dumped at the high end. A 4500ATK Firefist with an 8 hour duration is every ranger main's wet dream.
