MQ2 Date and time issue

Hello folks,

I'm trying to get on the boxing bandwagon, and i subscribed for builder access on the mq2 website. I compiled a new version of mq2, but upon starting it, i'm getting an error msg:

"Either MQ2 or eqgame is out of date"

I'm using the RoF2 client from here.

Any ideas?

As far as I know, the MQ2 source code that you get is for the Live version of EQ...specifically, for their test server. THF is not, strictly speaking, EQ. Its an emulation of EQ in the same way that the original AMD cpu chips were emulations of Intel. All the little private EQ sites like THF run the EQEmu server. The MQ2 source code has to be compiled for such. As for how to do that...thats above my paygrade. Most people run precompiled versions that are meant for emulators. I think I explained some of this in a past post a few months ago. I think its in the Third Party section?
