Noble's Causeway is a static (not an instance), open, outside zone. Coh is allowed but leviation is not. It has two long quest arcs, the Antithesis and Ghillie's, along with one medium sized and three small ones. These quests, both
separately and together, require you to run all over the zone numerous times. Unless you use a rogue to hide/sneak your way around AND station coh-capable toons at various places, then you will be doomed to killing endless
numbers of trash over and over again as you travel from quest giver to quest giver and from Named to Named. Hint: mages, rogues and the Orb of the Crimson Bull (item 6383) will be your friends.
Travel-wise in this zone, the rogue is king. Most mobs will not see him. Some Names seem to see him but will con as indifferent while others are scowling. Most mobs that have the word "stalk" in their name, such as "a stalking feran" or "a murkglider stalker" will see your rogue. Murkglider soulstalkers, however, will not.
Although there are safe spots spread throughout the zone, there are far more "temporary" safes, i.e. they are safe for a minute or two while the wanderers are not there. Most of the wanderers in NC do not continuously move...instead they move for a time, then stop for a time, then move again. This behavior is very obvious if you use mq2maps...there are numerous camping places next to Names throughout the zone that SEEM to be clear only to have one, two or even three wanders path through that area a minute or two later.
Most of the trash do not enrage (pet class can rejoice), however, some of the species do cause damage from a distance. The kyv have effective bows, murkgliders and ferans can throw annoying grey balls at you, and many mobs cast spells from a distance. Some of those casters will stand still for a whole minute casting at you before they charge. If you are trying to pull them to a camp, then in most cases you can change a mob to "melee mode" by running up to it and hitting it and then slowly back away.
