Rule Violators and Upcoming Contest

The next tier of Alternative progression is almost here, and as during the opening, we will hold a special Contest, with unique one time only rewards for the winners.

However, we are HIGHLY concerned with number of players who are running around Alternative Progression zones with items, weapons, and armor obtained outside of it, which is strictly prohibited. (its OK to give your chars money and weight reduction bags - if you REALLY have to, but nothing else)

For now we took no actions against these violators, but to insure fairness of upcoming contest, please be warned that once next tier is opened, and the contest begins, we WILL DELETE WITHOUT HESITATION ANY ILLEGAL ITEMS FOUND ON PLAYERS IN STONEBRUNT/GLOOMDEEP, AS WELL AS PERMANENTLY REMOVE THESE CHARACTERS FROM ALTERNATIVE PROGRESSION.

Old EQ player here who's been out for a long time. Let me say that Alt-p is exactly what I was looking for in an emu server. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this before losing all hope on other servers. Thank You Chaos and THF!!

But where do we actually stand? The last updates I see are dated November, and I read, buried in a post from early this year, that said Chaos was done. On top of that I gathered that no one was in line to take over. This thread, however, begs the question, is Chaos back with another Tier? I've read every post in this section, twice, and this thread is the only clue that we'll be seeing more Alt-P.

My silly ranger and his pally bot are level 13, and I'm in no hurry to get through Alt-p, but is there something on the horizon after SB, and if so, how far will it take us?

unforunately my understanding is Chaos is no longer dev'ing Alt-p and its no longer being supported 8(. sad but looks like alt-p is done @ 40 with the end of sb 8(.

aye its unfortunate - alt p is awesome, but at least all the content in the THF is great too - so after your done with alt p theres still PLENTY to do 8)

I had to resign, when I realized I no longer had the amount of free time I had to work on this, to deliver content in any reasonable time frame.
Stonebrunt+Gloomdeep will probably get you as far as 45-50, specially if you stick around to do all the bosses in Gloomdeep for complete gear sets + boss of GD has some nice items some people camp for a while
