New player ? client stuff

Hi. I've been thinking about playing here for a while, the custom content looks like it could just be a whole lot of fun, adding new stuff to classic areas I grinded when I was younger

I understand Tit/SoF/SoD clients are supported here, I have SOD and TIT, getting SOF reinstalled now, but I'm wondering what I should use.

Titanium is old and sometimes clunky, especially if I am boxing (i am probably going to 3box)
SOF i'm not sure how stable it is, but I know its got the extra bank space etc
SOD client is awesome, but on eqemu it can be hit or miss. I also know that to keep everybody on even footing character:SODclientuseSODhpmanaend (or however the rule is spelled out) is disabled, so seeing my hp/mana/end constantly at full but showing under what my client think sis full / moving down in uneven amounts would probably get really annoying.

In users (or devs) opinions what is the best client to use for THF? Does SOF have issues showing all the AAs like unmodded SOD/UF clients tend to ?

Regardless i'm going to log in soon! Just wondering which client to set up and download the server files to!

IMHO, always stick with the most updated client, so go with SoD. If you have it, I'd even recommend the UF client... and yes, THF works just dandy with the UF and HoT clients. Yes, the hitpoint issue in SoD+ clients is a little annoying, but you get used to it.

If you do go with the UF client, there are a few missing files (the steam version) that can be found within your SoD client. Basically, install the UF client and then copy over the UF client with your SoD client, skipping any duplicate files. This will restore any missing files.

As for UI's for SoD, google "stormhaven SoD UI wiki". They have a wiki set up specific to UI's which work well with SoD clients.

i have all the clients except SOF installed and functional.

the HP thing really annoys me.

I suppose at the higher end game its not such a big deal because when you have 20 or 30k hp/mana/end the 1k difference isn't going to make such a huge hole in the bar.

At lower levels its really annoying though lol.
