Raid Experience

No matter what I do after the last few days of testing while in a raid w/ 2 groups everyone is getting experience except two characters when doing this. The only logical reason I can see for this happening is the only ones not getting experience are human races, seems odd I know but theres nothing else connecting the two characters that aren't getting experience vs the characters that are.

Raid Groups here have always been a bit buggy - not sure if anyones looked into it or if its just to much of a PITA, but i always found that while raiding just using seperate groups makes life 100% easier than dealing with bugged loot/kill credit etc. Only zone i think i ever used the raid function for was ToV for the 2.0 updates, which even if they werent getting experience seemed to always get the update.

not sure if its as simple as a race thing, but possible, i do recall a # of my toons not getting xp in raids, that were DEs tho so. *shrug*

The only trouble I've seen with raids is after a raid force zones. It's better to just drop the raid and re-form it.

Yea ive tried disbanding / reforming if for any reason someone zones/dies etc... doesn't seem to help. Running without bots, just players as which i know bots were always a pita when it came to raids. Its just odd that the same two characters no matter the situation (different zones, days, etc) seem to be the ones missing out on the experience and nobody else.

Using it for a combination of the fact that any exp is better than no exp when you are fresh 70 and extremely low AA (and running multi grp) and the ability for HH access to multigrp which I haven't actually done anything with yet I don't think to see if thats worknig properly.

Have never gotten raid experience since I started raiding and was under the impression it was broken for everyone. There seems to be a lot of issues with groups when it comes to raiding. A few examples I've run into, using SoD client:

- Only one group gets experience (never mine, haha) - always
- Can't shrink group mates because it does not consider them in your group - always
- All 'Group Leader' AA becomes inactive, even though the raid window shows said person as Group Leader - always
- Raid leader at times will lose raid leader status and be unable to add new groups or move characters around. Require complete raid reform - random
- Cannot add single characters into a raid, only groups - always

Only issues ive had w/ titanium is that my humans (honestly the only connection I can think of) do not get experience, regardless of grp etc.

I did notice the shrink issue earlier today in titanium as well. Have not tried/used group leader AA. The rest of your issues seem to not happen on titanium however, as far as I can tell.

I asked a similar question in December 2010:
viewtopic.php?f=126&t=5172

+1 Bront's advice then and now.

You can get raids to work well enough to basically view a roster and add an extra chat channel. Who earns exp and who is able to utilize Raid Leader AA (if you ever manage to purchase some) is a tangled mess due to custom EQEmu group and raid code.

I did a bit of reseach at eqemulator.org to help folks who were unsure if it was a THF issue or something wrong with their clients. It's not:
