THF Installer and Lag?

Is there something the THF Installer downloaded that is causing the serious lag issues I'm having? I didn't have any problems before using it so I'm assuming it's the issue. And no, I have not installed anything since.

Zaria, if it would be an installer related LAG, the whole server would lag without any exception. But that's not the case. My best guess is that it's a network/rooting issue that a few player had experienced lately. We are looking into other possibilities, but atm this is the only reasonable answer since 99% of the server has no issue at all.

I am uk based, run SOD client, and sometimes run upto 12 toons on 5 pc`s. Apart from the odd toon crashing upon zoning when server is very busy, the latest installer has had no noticeable side effects.

Infact the server latency is the best I have ever had when playing on emu servers, hovering around 70ms on all toons. Now if only the wife would let me upgrade my pc`s so I dont need 5 of them I would be happy.

Sorry to have pointed the finger at THF but it's always easier to blame someone else and then look like a fool. =D

I recently reformated and installed Windows 7 and Linux. I did the video driver updates for Linux but not for Windows. /facepalm

I still need a better video card but that's not going to happen for awhile.

So have a good chuckle on my behalf. =)
