Congratulations to Samantha Sotsur for winning the Women's Finals. She's the first Aussie since Evonne Goolagong to win a major title. Yes, I watched Goolagong play back in the late 70s - early 80s.
Oh and on a side note, Serena Williams - who lost to Sotsur - showed her immaturity on the court yet again by being rude to the chair. It's a shame because she's a great player. Contrary to what you read tho, if you watch the video, she did not threaten the judge nor did she play the 'race card'. She was simply rude. =(
