Cleric Bot suggestion, please read and comment

I suggest the removal of complete heal from cleric bots, the spell cast is to long and create problems with the cleric bots AI

If i get hurt a little the bot uses a HOT, a little more a Direct heal, to much a COmplete heal

But typiclly when its time for him to cast CH im way way to low for it to heal me in time to live. If the dmg is coming in to rapid the bot will just go straight to a CH, and you die, my bot is geared out well and his Direct heals crit for more than a regular CH.

My bot never ever gets below 90% mana, and could cast direct heals/ fast heals all day long

The bots time where he makes the choice to use CH seems delayed, like the bot doesnt know what to do, fast heal, or ch, fast heal or ch, fast heal or ch, oh crap he is going to die, CH incoming lol :D thats my typical bot response to flurrys and rampages from multiple mob pulls.

Taking out CH may save a lot of peoples lives, do the right thing! save a life

Thanks, Goothulhu

Indeed , make the cleric bot use the quick heal only

Basicaly , DI , HP buff , Quick heals

What would be even cooler would be a #bot group heal cmd that would tell the bot to cast a group heal.

Daydreaming I know

Next time THF updates to the most current svn bots are going to change a lot.
If you have not been tracking bot development you might be interested in whats going on with it.

Well I've been trolling their boards pretty hard since I've taken up development of a server to pass the time.
I was never a fan of one of the older bot coders but the recent work is pretty nice.
However one downside for those on THF is that the bots have been changed to mimic death effects. Thats only one example that stuck with me after browsing the boards and reviewing the code work.
Basically when you summon the bot it doesn't come out with full health and mana to prevent people from "abusing" the bots as some see it.
I also believe the spells and AA list was redone. I use to think they had every AA but the developers of the bots say otherwise, it seems bots only have certain AA in the bot code.
However I have zero idea if THF staff have tweaked the bots at all so it very well could be customized for this server.
After all bots use to be a pretty big deal here before the population exploded.

Btw I just want to say I hate php/SQL, random I know. ;)

Our bot code has a lot of similarities, but also a lot of custom code also.

I do plan to upgrade us to use some of the new code and fix the non-working aspects in our bots (Druids healing mobs/caster being useless etc). But I have a lot of ther projects to do first :)
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...
Simon says.. touch the green one! Nooooo BLIQUE NOT THE RED ONE! zomg you just got me "Vaion Touched"!
