Azail the fairy in DSK T2

Anyone got any advice on doing this mob?

I tried a few times last night and ended up wiping at around 25%.

I tried just sending in my main tank and all healing with as much DPS as I could muster from my range crew - failed 25%

I tried sending in my paladin half-way through to ae agro the adds - Failed 35%

I tried not attacking but shouting insults - didnt fail, but didnt move hps

Do I just need more BANG?

My Full burn obviously isnt full enough

I debuffed the mob and went full burn using druid/bard/mage debuffs. Clicked ring for the energized on all 3 wiz's, Power potential II clicked, Mana Flare III, 2 donor rangers went trueshot.

I was using Wiz/Wiz/Wiz/Rgr/Rgr for my main dps.

Farcical got his ass handed to him every time around 25% with 10kac

I had 3 clerics chain healing as best as I could, enchanter was casting rune whwnever I had a spare hand to press a button, I even had the PAL run in and ae the mobs with donor clicked to try and keep some agro from my war.

Mob was debuffed using Shaman/Enc/Druid epics & spells. Bard was running epic clicky and singing in wizard group. Rangers had trueshot running. Wizards had all their DPS spells on. I was pumping out the DPS as fast as I could manage.

I can box everything in T1 without too many issues. Adrianna the tormented is no problem, then I run into a little fairy and BAM I get pwned. Twice.

I guess I need to work on my 'BURN' with the wizs a little more. They are all still just so-so geared and need a little TLC.

well , I think I may be missing something on this fight , but to me it was more or less a burn fight with solid tank. I will try to gather some more infos for ya bro

Maybe the solid tank is the part im missing. Im 10200ac or thereabouts raid buffed.

I might have to go do the raid aura for some more ac loving. I have a few new pieces or amour/augs to sort out also, but really im only looking at 10.5kac maximum even with all that with my current gear setup.

I will try again at some point, it might just be my timing of heals from 3 clerics.

Have you maxed out auras for the tank group man?
I was trying to compare your magelo to my warriors but the damn thing wont load so I cant give any advice other then burn burn burn.

p.s. why doesnt magelo work for me. i'm tired of 20min loading time on viewing any profile, if i can even see it.

Only got the solo auras, need to get busy doing raid auras also I guess.

Will try again in a few days with all the tips. Just added another 200ac from a VP clear so at least i'm going the right way. Ive also swapped out the enc donor for the group buff one so my wiz group should have a little more BANG than previously.

I need to look into some more wiz gear also I think, especially the twincast focus. At the moment on full burn with mob debuffed, I am critting mobs for over 200k with the wiz's while bard/druid epic is running. Also need to pop some augs on the wizards. They are still work in progress.

Without HoH evolved gear and augs, we noted the following:

A big part of wiz dps is MF3, bloodmage aura, chromatic arc VI, and gladiator/godly conversion. With 3 wiz+bard and 1 ranger we had the dps only if all wizards used Frenzied Devastation. Without it we would get too many adds. Perhaps a donor familiar on all of them would have worked too.

As said before: 1 tank for named, 1 tank to swarm the adds at 10k ac. Once you pass the 1 minute mark the adds get to be too much for 10k ac offtank and boxed priests.

Haven't been back since gearing and evolving HoH items. Probably easier.
