Spell effect shows as unknown effect with the new spell file (in game, that is)

Also, war epic 2.0 22% aggro modifier is showing as unknown spell.

Pauldrons of Blight had improved dodge V, and are also showing unknown effect.

Frozen Fiercehand Sleeves are unknown atm, used to be improved block V

Frozen Bladewhisper Sleeves are unknown atm, used to be Pelzia's Replenishment

Frozen Faithebringer's Armguards are unknown, used to be Pelzia's Replenishment

All 71+ discs are also unknown. I'm assuming it's probly because the spell file you used isn't including effects from level 70+ and that's likely where all these unknown effects are coming from.

Several of spells you mentioned have id's greater than 9999. Anything over 9999 creates problems with eq titanium client and the custom spell file listed is based on default titanium spell file.

It sounds like you are likely using a SoF or eqlive spell file.

At first glance, I would say that your spells never worked and that even though they showed up on your end, they were not in the server's database!

However, I think this quick jump could be extremely wrong. In fact, it may all of these spells worked before the recent spell changes, so let me consider the other option:

The previous spell database actually supported through SoF or live. It may have come peq or some other location and sourced in. Then, since lillu, tyler, and I use eq titanium spells, it would have removed some of the previous spells.

In Summary:

1. You were using a SoF or later spell file and the spells never worked anyways OR
2. THF used to support SoF spells but no longer do

Hope this clears up the possible issues! It would require lillu or tyler's comment to clarify which case. I have no clue what the highest spell id in the database used to be.

They've always said that they can't use IDs 10k or over, so idk why they used these. They did work though, I can tell you that much. Actually, it still says "your frozen faithbringers armguards begin to glow" when i cast my heals on my cleric even thouhg to him it's an unknown spell O_0

Which would be an easy change. But, I think it would expose a bigger issue I'd have to discuss with the guys!

Yea bear with us over the next couple of days! Spell change is a big one and we want to have this right from the start, or as correct as possible.

I recreated all type 5 and beyond effects and next time we reload the server, we can push the new spells in. unfortunately, we still need to reload the server again then to be able to assign the new spells to the items then.

Molten Ice is also unknown effect still with the new spell file.
