donator weaps glowing

So i have all my particles turned off, yet many people whose weapons glow and they have some blue aura flying around them (guessing they're donator weaps). It really slows down my comp when I see three or four of them in the forest.

On both Underfoot and Titanium clients (and therefore anything in between), turning player particle density to OFF will remove particle effects from weapons. Make sure you aren't in the spell / env tab, and make sure it's set to OFF and not LOW ;)

Using Warlgor's advice, I could toggle my raid aura on/off, but not the particles from my donor weapon or shield. (UF Client)

Smushes -

that is an aura, not a weapon particle effect. Unfortunately with the donor aura on the underfoot client, the player who has the aura has to turn it off himself (by going to the donor aura NPC in the hidden vale) for the graphic to go away. The good news is, I can tell by the pictures you uploaded that the weapon particle effects are in fact off on your computer. Maybe complain to the player about their aura, or get a computer that can handle later EQ graphics a little better ;)

Noren -

you have to zone after turning the player particle density off for the changes to take effect. I am using the underfoot client, and here is what the weapon particles on the cleric, berserker and bard donor look like before and after zoning, after having turned the particle effects off:

I would try ENV Particles instead of PLAYER and see what happens ...

Nah Micah, they're all off. What warlgor said makes sense - it's the only time i see that stuff.
