Do we get bonus exp

I have been playing for 2 days and I am level 34 already. Is there a bonus to exp in the lower levels. In Crushbone it seems I kill about 5 or 6 dark blues and I almost have another level?

I know once I get up to AA level I will not want slower but initially is there any way to slow exp at all?

I did not turn in my emblem for the alternate progression either.

Lower levels take less exp for each level, it's not that there is a special bonus per say (unless your first bits were during the halloween event which I believe had bonus exp running for all)

The Hidden Forest has a 3x EXP modifier (compared to live) for AA and regular level experience, on all kills. during holiday events, there's usually double exp, which makes it 6 times the exp of live, which stacks with lesson of the devoted, which would make it 12 times.

ahhh that makes sense...
I started during the halloween event and did a lot during that and a 3x modifier on dark blue would indeed give a ton of exp or like a red mob which I have killed.

there is not anyway to disable the 3x modifier is there?

yeah if you go into Alt-P it will be a lot slower there
Up till lev 45 or so. then you can come back to the normal game.
But have to be a brand new char.

Don't forget that you have 70 levels to go and then over 1000 AAs (or more depending on your class). While it is fast at 1st, the leveling part gets pretty slow once you get 50+. And then there are all the AAs.

If you feel you are lvling past the low lvl quests and content faster than you like, you can eat some exp deaths as others have mentioned, or make a 2nd toon to do or go to the places you missed on your 1st.

Also, don't forget that you can change the % of exp going to AAs to 100% once you get 51 and effectively stop lvling and still gain power through AAs to progress your char, while also not out lvling the content so you can explore and finish all the quests.
