Rogue Or T8 Pet

Hey guys, I am currently in t6 using a Warrior, Cleric, Shaman, bard, rogue, necro (t8 pet) and feel like my dps is just pathetic on some bosses, aka 12-15 minute xegony/Phara fights.

Should I drop the rogue for a mage or necro? I am so hesitant because I really love rogues but some of these fights are just mind numbing.

Don't. Rogues DPS are good in T8.

12-15 min on PharaDar isn't that much for a single group actually.
Pets tend to get destroyed int he later tiers on rampages

if you have some extra money, give your rogue the donor pants, they are just insane DPS wiz.

If you're concerned about dps, consider adding a dps'er and turning shammy into a buff-bot during encounters you don't need two healers. I'll bet xegony, with her low dps, is an encounter where your shammy is dozing off from boredom

Agree, Rogues are fantastic DPS. Even now with 32k assassinate Backstabs's you're probably seeing a jump in DPS. You have a lot of support classes, not enough DPS classes. I'd recommend dropping the shaman and picking up a second DPS. Maybe Wizard.

I personally dislike the pet classes.
