The Hidden Forest

I can't get the Ancient Metal Helm http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools/items.php?id=17333 to show on my delf SK. I've tried recycling the show helm option several times, but still nothing but my bald head. Is this intended or a bug? I'm using the UF client if that matters.

That particular item uses a Velious model. That being said, I haven't experimented with helm graphics to really be sure, but I'm guessing your issue lies with settings in eqclient.ini

In particular, there's one line pertaining to Velious armor:
LoadVeliousArmorsWithLuclin=TRUE

And another line that I'd guess the Velious line is a dependent of:
AllLuclinPcModelsOff=FALSE

If you wouldn't mind giving that a try and reporting back, it might help yourself and others.

P.S.

I recommend to anyone that makes deliberate changes to eqclient.ini to set the file as Read-Only after you save it. The EQ clients have a bad habit of overwriting things, and Read-Only will protect your changes from that.

Thanks for the reply Noren. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Changed the LoadVeliousArmorsWithLuclin=TRUE line. The other line was already set. Still no helm after restart. Any other suggestions?

Sometimes, I don't see a helm on one of my characters when I'm playing him but other players can see it.

Dunno if that's your issue or not. Just sayin'.

It will have a plate helm look after next reboot (if no objection). Right now it's not showing up as a helm.
