The Hidden Forest

The Band of Swirling Order http://www.thehiddenforest.org/item.php?id=10552 from the Plane of Air Tier 5
has the focus effect True Minion http://www.thehiddenforest.org/spell.php?id=8512

My question / observation is that this focus effect does not seem to work with the Necro 1.5 Ancient Souleater http://www.thehiddenforest.org/item.php?id=3541
epic pet Bane of Tunare http://www.thehiddenforest.org/pet.php?name=TunareBane

This seems to be due to the effect working only to lvl70 spells and the Bane of Tunare pet is base lvl 73.

However, the Augmentation of True Order augment form Plane of Valor Tier? (55-70) zone http://www.thehiddenforest.org/item.php?id=2661 works on spells up to lvl 80.

I suppose what I am saying is:
Shouldn't the focus on a Tier 5 item be better than a non-tier trash drop?

Pet focii have been a long bug in EQEmu. We were told that they will be fixed soon, but unfortuantely the only real working focus is the one from Sebilis.

Well that answers the question that popped to my mind when I made my ToV boots and #mystats'ed 1.5 mage pet with Minion of eternity / Ritual summoning / Servant of chaos (and those have an upper level limit of 80).

Wait and see.
