I have been talking with a few other rogues with the donor weapon and we all agree that the clicky effect is just so under-powered compared to the Monk donor weapon. It's not just the clicky that is under-powered, the dmg is also lower than the monk donor weapon dmg when both the weapons are fully augged. Is there anyway that this could be looked at and perhaps get a clicky effect on the rogue weapon that will put it on par with the monk donator weapon? I mean because Todd is probably the top geared rogue on the server and even when i go all out on a boss i get out dps'ed by monks with the donor by over 400k total dmg or more, and the monks that do this are no where near as well geared as my rogue. I dont mean this post to be a flame or anything just wanted to bring it up since i havent seen a post on it before and alot of rogues i have talked to share my feelings on this matter.

I would think that all donator items would have similar/comparable damage since they all cost the same. Hopefully this will get looked into Todd.

You can't have the same dmg on rogue donor as on the monk donor just because of the Backstab dmg you would be doing. it's always been designed this way in eq , all piercing weapon had lower dmg then blunt/slashing weapon. as well as Martial type weaps.

I have both , rogue donor and monk donor , rogue donor is a lure procc + a critical dmg boost making rogue critic on everysingle hits they do once full AA'ed, and almost all backstabs are critics also. and this is a perma buff.

Monk donor click is instead really good , but you aren't running it 100 % of the time like the rogue one.

I always thought Rogue/monk should be king of dps, and seeing monk maybe beeing #1 over rogue here is pretty fair , since one of our unique abilities (Feign Death) have been taken away by donor item.

Maybe add a little dmg boost to the rogue donor would be great , but I think the effect are ok atm.

I'm just sayin i shouldnt be getting out dmged so greatly by monks who have gear that is like 3 to 4 tiers below me is all i'm saying. And also i dont crit every hit with the donor effect up i get hits for like 40 and 200 alot on raid bosses and triple backstabs for like 400x3. So it's not an effect that makes you crit every hit.

Been a month or so since I played, but even after the "Patch", I was still near tops of DPS with my Rogue, behind only like Wizzies or Rangers (I forget which one it was, sorry). Fully AA'd and top geared, like Firenze said, I was critting (albeit for less dmg, no more mass gaudy BS sadly) nearly nonstop in T7 and on CT dummies.

But again, as Firenze stated, if it's damage got boosted, our BS would again get out of control. And I hate to even say that because as a Rogue, I lived for those HUGE ass backstabs.

Then again, it's been a month or so since I last played, so maybe something else has changed. But don't recall any major changes noted after all the tweaks made post-"patch".

Todd there is no way a monk will out dps you on this server. Dont get worried about some monk who presents a DPS number because most of the time they are just chatting shit and all lies as we spoke in vent the other day.

But given Todd is my old friend, please review rogue weapons.

I'll try and get my parser working and do a 1 minute parse with Todd and as a monk in my guild with the donor to let me use him to do a 1 minute parse and post the results. From looking at the effect on the rogue donor you get a total of one 325 dmg proc and a 550 dmg proc and +60 to crit. The monk donor on the other hand gives a 325 proc and a massive dmg modifier of 145% to all skills including procs and also 500% to minimum dmg modifier of all skills. So yeah. But i will post a parse in the coming days to show what i'm refering to

I would recommand that you extend the parse duration until monk donor re-use time is available (do not limit your parse = 1min).

Its best that neither you nor the lying monk do the parse. So someone independant of you both, that will ignore all procs, and straight up melee damage only.

I simply dont accept a monk doing that more damage than a rogue
