To sum up what Farci said here is a word that should be found in the 2013 dictionnary :
Vaionised : to be Vaionised means that someone (or something! We don't know yet wether this is a real alive entity or just a ... thing) is doing his utmost to block you in any form, on anything, everytime you try, as hard as you try on a game (and some thinks in RL too).
Exemples in EQ :1) You try to kill a mob : you are DTed.
2) You manage to kill a mob after few tries which ended up in DT : zone crash.
3) You overcame the DT and the zone crash (took you about 3 wipes and 3 zone crash) : double crappy loot.
4) You overcame the DT, the zone crash, the first crappy double loot and you hope to get an item that makes you wet at night : stop dreaming, that won't happen anytime soon when you are online, but will surely drops for your guildmates (who won't need it because they are after another item)
5) You are doing something easy for a quest and you need something specific to finish it because you have already prelooted next items : the game will specificly not drop the specific item you specificly wanted thanks to a secret code !
6) You are about to quit the game because you are furious and tired of all that : item drops on the third mob you are killing if it's a quest, or you get the item you wanted on the boss so you are SO happy that a spell is casted on you that makes you forget all the frustration.
Examples in RL : 1) You just met a hot girl in the bus and she starts talking to you and wants to see you again so you want to take her cell number...but you forgot your cell ! You have got a paper to write it on ? Good, you will lose it ! You memorised the number ? The day you shall meet her you will stuck because you caught gastroenteritis !
2) You cook something awesome for your wife or friends or someone-you-want-to-seduce. You spend hours preparing and in the end...you miss the one thing that will make it awesome because you thought you had it in your fridge but it disappeared ! You manage to buy it ? People who will eat it will be allergic to something in it !

To come back to your post, it took me so long to do them on my 4 first toons...and when I tried doing it for my 5th toon, I spent days slaughtering every wing of the zone and I never managed to get the last part of dragon so I gave up and waited last tiers of the game to get one. But I am sure that if I go there now, the dragon parts will be ON THE FLOOR already ! Don't get frustrated and move on
