The Hidden Forest

I want to try play THF, but I see multiple different installation guides around, they say different method.

What I did was:
1. Fresh titanium install
2. DL THFDownloader
3. extract to everquest folder
4. rename everquest to thfeverquest
5. run THFDownloader
6. register account
7. edit eqhost to Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5999
8. start TFH client

Login look like from expansion with monster shrouding (werewolf one). Tried login, success but server list is EMPTY.

You wont be able to use the Host=login.thehiddenforest.org until you register with the THF login server.

If this is the 1st time you are ever trying to log into THF i think you need to use the regular EQ emulator login server.

For titanium the login server is Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998
For SoD| UF | RoF | RoF2 the login server is Host=login.eqemulator.net:5999

Using "Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998" tells me login info is wrong. Am I supposed to register account to eqemulator, then login to THF with eqemulator info? I kind of tried with my p99 login, client just crash.

You should be able to login with the same EQ emulator account you used for P99 if you set the login host to eqemulator.net. You would just need to have the THF files patched instead of P99 which you have done.

I'm not sure what else the issue may be. Maybe some other nuance with titanium i'm not familiar with. I haven't used Titanium here in a very long time. Most are using either UF client or RoF2 now that it is supported.

Someone else may be able to comment and help ya, or you may also try using the RoF2 client instead.

We haven't supported Titanium client since 2015, you need either underfoot or RoF2 which is the recommended client. you can download that here: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=14169

Says can use Titanium there, might want to fix that. I'm restarting installation with RoF2.

Thanks, I imagine quite a lot on there is outdated now!
