Confusion and frustration.

Had to re-install, and now when I log in it just sits at "Logging in to the server. Please wait..." indefinitely.
When I change the eqhost file from

[LoginServer]
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5998
to
Code: Select all
[LoginServer]
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5999
it gives me the user name/password error. No idea what's wrong, hopefully there's some sort of super easy and quick fix.

Q4: I already have an EqEmu or THF account, What do i need to do to use the new Private Login Server?
1. If you have a THF account, go on to step 3. Please note that the THF player account is not the same as THF forum account.
2. If you have an EqEmu account, register it with our private THF Login Server if you haven't yet. You can check if the account is registered ingame with the #getlsinfo command.
To do so, log in to THF using the Public Login Server (as you would normally do to play). Once you are in game, run the following command #setlsinfo accountname password email
For example :
#setlsinfo MyAccountName MyPassword myemail@email.com You'll need to repeat this with all of your existing EqEmu accounts, can use the same email address for any account.
If you haven't done this, you will see... ...nothing.

Just an update, with more info.
I have two accounts, which I've been playing on THF for a couple of weeks now. Everything was fine until this morning when I had to re-install.
I can log on to my friend's account, who is registered through THF and not eqemu. When I try to log on to either of my accounts that were registered through eqemu, as well as my other friend's account who also registered through eqemu, it doesn't work.

I'm an idiot. Issue resolved, followed the wrong guide.
