The Hidden Forest

I have been playing for a couple weeks now and have never had problems logging in. I am using

[LoginServer]
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5999

Tonight when I try to get in I get a connection to the server cound not be reached. so I tried to connect to the server with the public login server at

Host=eqemulator.net:5999

I can login but I don't see my characters listed at all.

Help please

If you created your characters with the private login server they will not be linked to your EMU account.

I am having the same issue as you and can't figure out why. I was on earlier and had no issues my UF clients will not connect but Titnanium connects just fine.

I just reinstalled the titanium client, and I was able to get in, so the question becomes how come we cant get in with the new clients?

I have 2 toons with linked emu accounts that work fine on UF and with public login. However I have 1 account not linked with emu login that wont connect. I dont have titanium client to try. So it seems all of the sudden ( I was playing and camped and could not log back in) the private login rejects UF clients now? But not public UF clients? Is it possible to link accounts while not in game?

The only difference is Older clients use port 5998 and UF uses 5999 ...

Just reporting in that I could just login with UF client using private login server. Thanks devs!

I was able to get in this morning with the new client as well. Thanks if someone made a change or fixed something.
