I just recently finished my WoS Chimera Pet, I rebuff up, put Chimera Spirit on... I go out first time I hit Hands of the Master, BAM it overwrites it.... WTH? Is that intended? If so, lame, and can I get WoS pet reset so I can do another one... Micah, Lillu, Viaon?

I think you should get more upset and post a couple of big bad words, that will make us look into this instantly ... srsly ...

Ok so yea they dont stack they never have, but take a closer look to what is better in the long run.

The WOS pet duel wield to 7%
attack chance to 7%
Double attack to 7%


Hands of the master rk.1 double attack to 8%
rk.2 double attack to 10%


so what is really more benifical in the end? They dont stack because of the double attack.

Im sure there would have been a nicer way to bring this to the attention of the devs.

I ASSURE you, im aware of the spell details you looked up on allaclone... my question was... WAS IT INTENDED?!?... Possible stacking issue? Obviously the pet is better and I have been using it since I got it... Id just like to get my class buff back... Id like them to stack... Maybe Viaon tells me no, your a nub, they will never stack or ohh crap... I overlooked that with the 1000 other things im looking at, I'll fix it... Done...

The way I see it is that not every spell is meant to stack.

I understand the frustration and may look into adding a system to allow players to reset their WoS pets. I did not develop them and have never honestly set foot in WoS on this server, so it will take me awhile to figure out how exactly the quests are set up.

As for the stacking request, I see this as the WoS pet is a T5 spell. Where Hand of the master is a T8 spell. While yes, the pet does have an additional stat and the bonus of the pet, the simple fact is that the T8 spell has higher values of the effects that they share. I do not plan to make these stack, and which one is used will be at the player discretion.

Again, I will look into adding a system to allow the pets to be changed, but it may not see the live game for awhile since I have a very extensive list of things to do.


And as always, we understand the frustration experienced when you farm items/spells just to realize they are useless in your set up. We have all been there (remember even the devs play EQ from time to time). However, being rude and/or being disrespectful does absolutely nothing to help the matter at hand. Remember that we are all real people and naturally respond better when approached in a respectful manner.
